Jackson has a passion for music and aptitude for the drum set, which he has pursued and refined throughout his life. He has experience in performing, recording, and teaching in many different roles.
Jackson has studied under the tutorledge of mentors such as David Sanders and Ricky Sebastian, and has lessons with Brian Blade, Johnny Vidacovich and Aaron Goldberg among others. He has also been privileged enough to work at both La Cueva and Brooklet Recording Studios.
Jackson has performed with a wide variety of artists both nationally and internationally on the drumset. Some of the venues would include the Old Mint in the French Quarter of New Orleans, USA, Wingham Akoustic festival on the coast of NSW and festivals in the high country of Victoria.
He has worked in recording studios internationally, including La Cueva, those at UNO, Studio 301, Brooklet Recording and Carapark studios.
